The Interstate Mullet Toss & Greatest Beach Party is back April 24–26, bringing thousands of visitors together for a one-of-a-kind celebration of beach, music, and community.


What started as a quirky beachside competition has grown into one of the most iconic events on the coast, drawing people from all over the country (and beyond) to take part in the fun.


What Is the Interstate Mullet Toss?

It’s exactly what it sounds like—in the best way possible. Participants step into a 10-foot circle on the Florida side of the state line and toss a mullet fish as far as they can into Alabama. The farthest throw wins, but the real goal is simple: have fun and make memories.


A Weekend Full of Events

The Mullet Toss isn’t just a contest—it’s a full weekend beach party packed with entertainment. You’ll find:

  • Mullet Toss Competitions (Friday–Sunday)
  • Kids Toss: 10 AM – Noon
  • Adult Toss: Noon – 4 PM
  • Celebrity & Owner Toss: 4 PM daily
  • Awards: 2 PM (kids & seniors), 4:30 PM (adults)
  • Live music all weekend long
  • Beachside fun, contests, and entertainment
