The "Funnest" Fishing Tournament on the Gulf Coast

The 11th Annual 2024 Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo (FBFR) is set to take place June 7th-9th. This is a multi-species tournament that welcomes anglers of all skill levels to compete for prizes. The event is held at the Flora-Bama Ole River Grill, across the street from the Flora-Bama Lounge, on the Alabama-Florida state line.


The FBFR caters to both recreational and competitive anglers. With 40 different categories, there's something for everyone, from those targeting the humble catfish to those pursuing prestigious billfish. The diverse range of species eligible for prizes ensures that anglers of all backgrounds can participate and have a chance to win.


One of the standout features of the FBFR is its commitment to giving back to the community. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to a non-profit organization dedicated to providing well-deserved family vacations for combat veterans, making this event not just a fishing tournament but also a celebration of service and support.


With its laid-back atmosphere and live music, the venue provides the perfect backdrop for the FBFR's festivities.


Last year's event was a resounding success, attracting anglers from near and far to compete in the "funnest" fishing tournament on the Gulf Coast.
